Two Upcoming Civic Events: Get Informed and Involved!
Happy October! Election Day is coming up in just over a month, and the ballot will be jam-packed with candidates and propositions. If you're feeling especially civic-minded during the run-up to Election Day, consider attending one or both of the following events. This community is only as good as we make it!
1. MEASURE ES INFORMATIONAL PRESENTATION, OCTOBER 4 (THIS THURSDAY), 6:30pm. Join fellow community members for an informational session on Measure ES at Moose Lodge 1780 this Thursday evening. Hosted by "Yes on ES for Quality El Segundo Schools," the session will provide attendees with information and details regarding this ballot measure. The Moose Lodge is located at 514 W. Imperial Ave.
2. SCHOOL BOARD CANDIDATE FORUM, OCTOBER 8 (MONDAY), 7-8:30pm. Hosted by the El Segundo Woman's Club and held at 541 Standard St., this forum will present candidates with questions to answer for all in attendance. Doors open at 6:30pm.
