Reflections 2019

Middle school students “Look Within” to make award-winning art.

On the chilly evening of November 13, 2019, local middle-school students and their families gathered at the cozy Smoky Hollow Roasters on Sierra Street to celebrate artworks the students had created for PTA’s 2019 Reflections contest.

The theme of 2019’s competition was “Look Within,” and students interpreted this theme in countless creative ways through dance, writing, music, photography, video, and visual art.

Heike Fallon and Michael Earley, who head up Reflections at the middle-school level, displayed the winning artworks throughout the venue and presented students with awards.

The award winners were:

Dance Category - Holden Cadman, first place; Kiana Pereira, second place; Julia Perfetti, third place

Literature Category - Camden Chen and Hailey Cadmus, first place; Even Chen, second place; Kiana Pereira, third place
